Have you ever actually shot someone in self defense? You don't have to get into details. Lets just say you had well enough reason to shoot someone. I want to know: Then what? Of course I assume LEOs are called in. You tell them on the phone what happened and assure them you aren't a lunatic and assure them you won't fire upon them? Is it their procedure to arrive and cuff you until all questioning is over? Anyone ever been through all this? I'm just curious.

I have not personally shot anyone, Thank the Good Lord, put I have drawn my weapon to stop an attack. However in the event of a shooting you can expect to be handcuffed until the cops understand what went down. After that there are way to many variables as to what might happen, but one thing is for sure, you better have your words down pat when speaking to the LEO's. I hope and pray you are never placed in this position.
