"In Tennessee, a husband and wife were disturbed at night by banging noises against their house. Concerned, the husband armed himself with his shotgun 🤠 and opened his door 🚪 to find two men (later identified as brothers) waiting there. The homeowner ordered the men to go away. Pushing his way inside, one man chased🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️the homeowner in the house, following him into his bedroom. In response, the homeowner fired and wounded the intruder in the shoulder. Charges were pending against one of the intruders."

"According to the report, Jeremy armed himself with a shotgun and found two men at his door. Jeremy reportedly told the men to leave and attempted to shut his down, but Letts ran into the home and followed the victim to his bedroom. After a chase, investigators say Letts was struck by a shotgun blast to the shoulder from Jeremy."

🏆 Journalism Award: What the heck really happened? How did the shotgun holder lose the advantage for a while? Why did he open the door, did he step outside or not, did another chase happen after the bedroom, and why press charges against only one? As usual, more questions than answers - news has nevva been betta!

🎯 Hit the target - another shoulder.

No HP995, goes to show NRA needs to validate their info from newspeek media before putting it into their publication

The Journalism Award includes NRA's amazing adaptation, yet they still don't hold a candle to good ol' WJHL. Notice the repeated use of first name for the homeowner and last name for intruder! :ROFLMAO: Which then reverses at the end of the article. Too bad because these stories deserve better, clearer coverage.

Here is NC entire newspeek media coverage of an early April attempted bank robbery, quote:

An attempted bank robbery Tuesday afternoon left one man hospitalized with nonlife-threatening injuries, according to Benson police.
Around 4:45 p.m. the suspect, who has yet to be identified or officially charged pending release from the hospital, walked into the PNC Bank located at 400 S. Wall St., Benson, brandishing a firearm and wearing a mask. He then unsuccessfully attempted to rob the bank.
Before police arrived at the scene, the suspect was wounded inside the bank. Immediately after being shot, the suspect fled on foot. He was apprehended a short time later and taken to WakeMed in Raleigh for treatment.
Police believe the man acted alone and no other suspects are being sought in the case, which remains under investigation. Unquote.

Hp995, please note there is absolutely no mention in this or any other report of who or how BG got shot ~ and to date there has never any info revealed how the BG got shot!

Rule #1: Maintain or create barriers to entry.

Rule #2: Use cover to the maximum extent possible.

The victim in the OP opened his door, allowing his attackers to gain entry.

peeked around the ignore function again - huh...good job...

They both ran out of the trailer and as they crossed a fence, ...

A mobile domicile...with a front and back door. Perhaps the rear mobile domicile door had no viewing portal, and to learn what, or who, is banging on the back door the door must be opened.
