Might be just Logan and I there, Grapeshot is busy with other things, and with him not being able to make it that starts me thinking how the numbers for breakfast have diminished over the 5 or so years I've been attending.

This week didn't go as planned. When I got up saturday, I found I had the start of an ugly stomach virus. That caused me to miss 5 days straight of work. I haven't been that ill since 1989. I hope to be recovered enough to see you saturday.

I too have noticed that the group is smaller, but none the less enjoyable. Sadly, I have had to work a number of times I planned to attend. Let's hope this year is better.

It has been an unusual week…,

had to forego breakfast for a sad duty. Friend's daughter passed on earlier in the week, the service was at 9:30, but family visitation started at 8:30, maybe next week.

sorry to hear of your friend's daughter

where would you like breakfast to be next Saturday? (I'm going to insist, though, that you only give the name of a place that will be OPEN on Saturday - just in case you were thinking of 'doing a skid'[SUP]*[/SUP] on me and answering that you'd LIKE it to be Rise & Shine)

[SUp]*[/SUp]for those unfamiliar, skidmark (R.I.P.) would always try to answer the literal question you asked him rather than answering the question he knew you meant. The typical server's question of "is there anything else I can get for you today?" was always met by the response of "yes, tonight's winning lottery numbers, please"
