Gov Chris Christie's Day In the Sun

Gov Chris Christie has recently been propelled into the sunlight by the recent devastation in NJ and the cooperative efforts between him and Pres Obama for FEMA relief to the flooded out victims of that state.

This could not happen at a worse time for Romney. Romney has been preaching that there has been no bipartisanship between Demo's and Repub's and that this is somehow Pres Obama's fault even though it was fully orchestrated by Boehner in the US House for the past 2 years since Boehner came into the Repub leadership there.

Now we all get to see bipartisanship on tv every night on the evening news, that it is well and good.

The spotlight on Christie actually strengthens him as a candidate in 2016 for the presidency as well. And yet one more good reason for him to oppose Romney now, precisely so that Christie CAN run in 2016. The love fest between Christie and Obama on the tv news was heartwarming to see.

A 2016 ticket with Christie and Jeb Bush on it might unite the North and the South for the Repub's and be a formidable opposition to Hillary or Biden if one of them chooses to run, as they are surely likely to do.

We will all be talking about 2016 soon, in a few more days, after this current election is over.

Christie is no friend on carry issues .. he is as bad as Obamalama

And look at his actions .. sending cops out to every gas station ... he clearly likes a police state

He's a fat pig IMO. A useless bag of mostly water.

Ah, no -- Christie is no fan of gun rights. He has said he is very supportive of NJ's strict gun control laws. When an otherwise LAC from Colorado was sentenced for merely possessing a firearm in NJ, his sentence was commuted to time served - so he still has a felony on his record. I honestly do not think Christie is a true conservative or somebody who holds liberty loving values.

How dumb can progressives be? I am constantly amazed at how non issues are attempted to be made issues by partisan media and progressives.

Christie works for New Jersey, he does what is in the best interest of his constituents, which BTW are mostly democrat.

Christie does not know who is going get to elected, and there is no reason to diss Obama unless Obama disses him. If Obama is reelected his state needs to use whatever resources he can get his hands on. That is his job, to work for the people that elected him.

Obama is less than a week away from election in a very tight race, the last thing he needs to do is diss Christie, and possible lose a state he is already carrying. He would be an idiot to do such thing.

Anybody who thinks Christie is endorsing Obama please provide a cite, if not this is a non issue among intelligent voters.

Content could be misinterpreted by those so inclined. Do not see that PPM had any such intent however.

Christie and Bush seem like they would each be good guardians of guns rights.

Keep puffing that joint, sugar.

If Christie "does what is in the best interest of his constituents", how does one explain him permitting union thugs keeping his constituents in the dark? The news is forecasting no electricity to 8,000,000 homes - most of which are in NJ - for 8 days. Meanwhile 1,000 volunteer electrical workers who drove to NJ from Alabama to lend cost-free assistance, were sent packing by union thugs, who called them "scabs" and other derisive terms, because Alabama is a Right to Work state. They put their own greed ahead of the needs of the rest of Christie's constituents, and nothing was done by the state to stop them. Pax...

Yeah, but surely he will be the "lesser of two evils," again, right? :p
