Firearm laws for boats

What are the laws governing the carry of firearms while on boats in PA? Would a motor-driven boat still be classified as a "motor vehicle"? The thought just occurred to me, and I don't recall ever reading anything about it... but it makes sense that one would want to be armed while on a boat, as boats tend to be worth considerably more than cars...

It's ok, if you have an eyepatch and are flying the jolly roger. A parrot also helps.
