I was looking for an old thread where I recalled discussing some firearm-friendly businesses, because I didn't want to be a complete self-promoting douche.

But since I couldn't find it, here goes:

My family and I have opened a military surplus store in Vancouver. I will not spam the forum with a lot of commercial pomotion, but I think this is something that will have a decent intersection with the interests of local OC'ers.

Stop by and check it out. Polite open-carriers are quite welcome.

For now, we are not licensed to sell firearms. We do have ammunition and pepper spray.

We have a variety of military surplus items, outdoor/sporting goods, and we will be offering training in a variety of safety disciplines, starting with our very first CPR/First Aid Class on December 11, 2010.

The inventory changes rapidly and will be expanding- this is a small, family business just starting out.
