Anti-gunners are planning on making themselves visible at a press conference for Congressman Bentivolio's mobile office. Mr. Bentivolio is pro gun-rights, so let's have his back, carry our signs, and make our voices and views heard to any media and anti-gunners present. Also, be sure to thank him and his staff for his pro gun-rights position.

Just got back. There were about 15 of 'em, I was the only pro-gun guy there. Everyone was polite, no issues. A couple of them talked with me. No one was changing anyone's mind, but we listened to each other. Pleasant folks, even if their ideas are completely ineffective on the issue.

Rep. Bentivolio's staff brought out doughnuts and coffee. Thanked them for that, and asked them to pass along my thanks to Rep. B for being strong on gun rights.

Well it does appear the timing (during a work day) was no accident. They are paying to bus people in etc... so they appear to have the "numbers". Funny - news camera's show up for 15 of "theirs" but not for the 1,500+ that made it out to the lansing rally earlier this year...no bias there on the media's part...

I travelled from work (Novi) to spend as much of my lunch hour as possible there. Can't believe I was the only gun-rights guy in Detroit/Suburbs that could do that. Seriously??? Are we going to let them appear in greater numbers than us, in front of the media??? In front of a House of Representatives member's mobile office???

Come on guys! Especially those of you within 30 minutes of Troy and an anti-gun press conference in front of a legislator's mobile office, you've got to make the right choice between spending your lunch scarfing down a tray of crap you probably don't need anyway and being visible to the media and legislators to counter the anti-gun messages! Or, if your shift isn't during the day, staying awake or waking up in time to do so.

I know there's a hell of a lot more people on here, or who should be aware of these events, than me that were within reasonable distance of Troy. Troy is smack in the middle of the Detroit Metro area! Step up, or lose the battle through inaction folks. The choice is yours. I understand not everyone can get to these things, so I'm only talking to that one other person than myself in Troy, next to Troy, or the Metro Detroit area who could have shown up during lunch break or on their time-off. If we let the anti-gunners monopolize the media and legislators, they will do so.

Nothing worse than getting shown up in the media by a handful of anti's. If it was even remotely possible I would have been there. Next time guys, make sure you return the favor and out show them by 15 to 1.

I am not CONUS at present though we are looking at moving back to the states and Michigan is the goal. Question on the counter protest about the protesters. You say they where bused in? I would be strongly interested in what these folks did as work. If it smells like out of state folk coming to move an agenda then that needs to be put in font of folks and made known. IF it is government employees being bused to support a political agenda that might need charges filed.

Sorry I used to volunteer for election teams when younger and learned how much dishonesty goes on first hand. Once we have moved I will gladly support both active rallies and counter rallies. It is one of the most useful tools there is for getting the message out. To those of you there now and fighting to keep our natural rights, thank you.

@ m.marino (a.k.a -Michael ) You're welcome. Hey if you cannot make it to MI for whatever reason there's plenty of HIGHLAND here in AZ to make you feel as if you're still in Scottland, (just much more free). ;)

Welcome -Michael.
