Cincinnati Visit

Coming north next weekend to visit Mother in Cincinnati. Have my Georgia and Utah license's so I should be good as far as license. Anything or places to worry about in the Cincinnati/Hyde Park/ Mt. Washington areas? Did not have my Utah license on previous visits so I did not carry at all in Ohio.

Parts of Cincinnati can be dicey, but I think you'll easily be able to identify them by the conditions of your surroundings.

Hyde Park and Mt. Washington should be fine, IMHO.

Open carry (which I doubt you'll be doing, since it's in the high single digits now) does not require a license in Ohio, though you may get threatened with disorderly conduct or inducing panic charges.

Note that loaded carry of a firearm without an Ohio Concealed Handgun License or reciprocal license in a vehicle is not against the law. Either of the two charges BB62 mentioned should not apply and should be easily defeated, but that doesn't stop the threat that they might be threatened in a color of law attempt to keep one from exercising constitutionally protected rights.

"color of law attempt" What???? Watch how you use that color of law reference.

"Easily defeated" - not necessarily - If you hire an idiot attorney - bend over.

If you have a good attorney, it maybe over in 6 to 8 months. After all he must deal with a prosecutor and a court that are in bed with each other.

And you better know the law better that your attorney. Because 99% of the attorneys have no clue what the law is.
