One week to go

Next thursday my Sweet Baboo and a few others will be enroute Wenatchee. When I was younger my Army friends and I would go to "the Field", my Sweet Baboo and her Air Force buddies would go "camping". This trip will be about halfway in between.

Gumbo Day will be friday. It will be assisted by some Red beans and Rice (another Acadian masterpiece).

On our way in about an hour, We will have it all broke in by the time everyone arrives.

If we have not met, just look for the 3 x 7 Open Carry banner in front of my trailer and come say hi.

Have a great camping weekend everyone! Wish I was coming

Same from me. For the third year in a row the campout corresponds to the weekend that the wife and I leave on our annual trek to Lubbock, Texas to visit the daughter and son-in-law. OC through Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, then transition to CC at the border to Texas.

Thought I would be there tomorrow, but will be there friday instead. Had a commitment come up tomorrow evening that I had not planned for. See you then.

I haven't posted up in a while but I'm still planning on being there. Heading out tomorrow morning some time. I don't have a spot reserved but still need somewhere to pitch a small tent and park a motorcycle. I'm planning on figuring it out when I get there. See you Friday.

See you Friday.

Current conditions are cloudy, slight breeze, 55 degrees and very quiet over half of the camping spots are empty.

We went to an Indian restaurant, 105 S Wenatchee blvd, last night that was fantastic, great food combined with great service made for a great meal.

Since you're there...

Might as well go visit a couple of Chelan County PUD Parks. They've revised their rules and made, in my opinion, their firearms rules more restrictive by describing open carry as alarming.

See the email I just received this morning: http://forum.opencarry.org/forums/s...Chelan-County-PUD-Parks&p=1939177#post1939177

Walla Walla Park is a Chelan PUD park right near where you're all camping.

I have room in spot 24 if you don't get something figured out before then. We wont be there till probably mid-late evening though.

Outstanding camp out, great food, great company, looking forward to next year already.

A big thanks to BobR and his SWMBO who supplied and cooked the massive rib roast for Saturday nights dinner.

Re: Camp out

Pleasure to meet all of you yesterday. I told my wife the temptation to stay for slow cooked meat was pretty strong.
