I'm curious if anyone has seen a business owner carrying in his or her "fixed place of business'? Especially a business that isn't a gun shop. I understand that employees at Chucks Gun Shop all carry and I wouldn't think it odd to find gun shop owners doing so.

I've seen two pawn shop owners open carry within their shop.

EDIT for clarity: two separate owners of two separate shops.

Where were these pawn shops located at? I had one small gun shop owner where I came "fanny pack transporting" mentioned that he was carrying and always did when someone came to his shop.

About10 years ago, I walked into a place called Midwestern Firearms in East Peoria and the guy behind the counter had a really nice looking 1911 on his hip.

Back then, before I became a citizen of Missouri instead of a subject of Illinois, this raised my eyebrows.

Now, I'm the one raising eyebrows everytime I walk past a car with Illinois plates in gas station, restaraunt, and Wal-Mart storeparking lots here in Missouri.

Ahhhh. The air over here smells like..............

.....freedom.

Come on over boys! The water's fine!

One is near me, in the Cook County panhandle, and the other was somewhere in the Alton area, I'm not exactly sure where.

I'm sorry to be vague, but I'm not comfortable 'outing' a local business in an area with such a hostile political climate, and the Alton-area one I really just don't remember well.

I probably should have asked if anyone knew of someone who OCs or CCs in thier business and I would have gotten more response. If someone CCs of course and does it well you shouldn't know unless they tell you.
