There is a story at http://www.KFVS.com a local TV station about two older women who were assaulted by someone who broke into a church in Anna Illinois. If you go there and search "women assaulted Anna baptist church" you can get the story.

What is interesting is that I was talking with a friend at church and the subject came up about the assault. He said he works with a couple that go to that church and that the younger of the two has a LTC, and is also reportedly a pretty good shot.

Both women were listed as being in stable condition in the hospital. This could have turned out different if we had RTC legislation in Illinois. The perpetrator might be in the hospital in stable condition, or critical condition or dead.
