Hey fellers. I'm coming to your state in Nov and attending the car show in Moultrie. What if anything can I expect there? I don't know the law in Georgia as well as I do in Alabama. Maybe I'll meet an OC'er there. I have a CCW from Alabama.

I know Alabama recognizes Georgia's permit as I checked a few weeks ago before barber motorsports vintage bike race weekend but I'm not sure if Georgia recognizes Alabama's I don't see why not. But Check up on that on your own though.

google shows this:

Georgia does require you have a permit to cc or oc so according to that you should be covered for either. Georgia also allows you to OPEN carry in your vehicle without a permit.

Enjoy the show!

Not to hijack..... @07gtimyfast: I was at Barber for "Vintage Days" as well. I camped in lot C with a group from "SOHC4.net" Park rules don't allow carry, so I had to cover up....

Georgia also allows you to OPEN carry in your vehicle without a permit.
You may carry anywhere in any manner in YOUR vehicle without a permit. If you are a Georgia resident and eligible for a carry license you may carry in ANY vehicle.

GA does honor the Alabama permit. You are good to go OC or CC.

Georgia has very few off limits places (not as few as Alabama though.)

IANAL YMMV
