I have heard about this. How about churches with a "day care Sunday school"?

the facility is listed as a church and if, if you peel back the facade you might discern there is no paperwork authorizing a "day care" and if there is k-12 taught you might not find any affiliation nor oversight with any local community board of education!

I have heard that some churches operate a Day Care / Child Care Center during the week.
I do not know of any personally.

This new addition appears to apply only to "licensed" Child Care Centers:

(1) It is unlawful for a person to carry onto, or to possess on, licensed child care center premises, child care center-provided transportation, or areas of facilities while being used exclusively by a child care center:

Considering that language, it would seem the Sunday School type activities are exempt.
