MAYBE IN "HONOR" OF wolfeinstein UNLAWFUL DETENTION BY THE OC SHERIFF, IT SHOULD BE HELD IN ALISO VIEJO. HE KNOWS OF A FEW EATING PLACES THAT ARE OC FRIENDLY.

The pattern needs to be broken. UOC has been hitting cities with larger population. smaller cities, lets say Fairfield, Napa, Petaluma, Santa Rosa, I think would have a different reaction. Fairfield cops seem a little rought around the edges and seem to violate the law more (in my dealings with them) where as petaluma/napa are very libaral towns where people are scared of guns. A lot of people will be using cell phones to call the police.

note - i have not.. or heard of any open carry's in these cities

Those are NorCal cities. This thread is about SoCal open carry meets.

Still the small town idea is good but I also like Aliso Viejo. Not that I like to stand up to rogue LEOs or anything. :uhoh:

I'm a newby here.
A thought: Would it be a good to have someone approach various food establishments in advance of a meeting to see how they feel about Open Carry?
Before long, we'll need a list of Off Limits facilities and businesses.

If you guys want to make a statement, I can only suggest the tired adage of: "if your going to be a bear, be a grizzly."

Which is to say, L.A. Why not meetup atthe center of a place of 2nd Amendment repression.

I'll be there with bells on if you guys are willing to make it happen.

I have been there and LAPD loves us. I think half of their department showed up. However It would not be wise for me to UOC in LA until my complaint is at least filed

I am WLLING to be there. And I have family members that are CHP (california Highway Patrol) and LAPD officers. And they have all been educated on this UOC. I just had this talk with them. They are both gun-pro. I'll have at least one of them so they don't harass us (or ME ) . Maybe post this up on fire arms forums as well (1911 form, the firing lane, etc). I'm up to promote this....

I'd like to have one in the Inland Empire (Riverside, Corona,San Bernardino area).
Are there any more UOCers in my area? I can organize things.
Can I get a witness?
Also, the little button that is labeled 'Send'... can we make it read 'Send It'?
