Too bad, I did like their ammunition. They have the freedom to make the mandate, I have the freedom to spend my money elsewhere.

Stupid is as stupid does. Here is an owner/president of a company listening to attorneys who are agents of the government.

From the letter. "It is posable even more requirements will be imposed, based on our contracts with the U.S. Government."

Really? If a contract can be changed or modified by one party without the consent of the other party to the contract then it is not a contract.

Hornady is demanding its employees participate in an experiment and if they don't they will be terminated.

At the most OSHA can only demand masks. And OSHA has already said masks will not protect against Coved.

exactly. federal contracts are not really contracts. it's a whole different body of law, based on contract law, but with the underlying assumption that you're dealing with a sovereign entity that can do whatever it wants in that kind of transaction. And if you don't like what they're doing, that's just tough, because they can always just cancel the deal midway through "for the convenience of the Government", and that's all the reason they need. They still have to pay up, though because of that Fifth Amendment "takings" thing, you know. There are two huge sets of regulations that actually control it, the "Federal Acquisition Regulations" and the "Defense F.A.R.S.", published in the Federal Code of Administrative Regulations.
