"Tricky Dickie" Durbin does it again

Earlier this year, Durbin released a statement that he was planning on retiring this year. APPARENTLY, when he saw how the non-democrats in Illinois reacted, he and the DNC realized that his seat would be at risk. While "Duckworthless" would have become the "senior" senator, the "powers that be" were afraid that the people would elect a non-democrat, which they could not allow.
If I am correct, Durbin can retire after being sworn in next January and our "illustrious governor", Jabba the Hutt, gets to appoint his replacement. Maybe Jabba can better price for it than Blago did when it was "Dumbo's" seat.
