New clinical guide helps physicians identify risk, talk with patients about firearm safety and injuries. Clinicians often feel that they have a role in preventing firearm injury. But few talk with patients about the risk of firearms and safe firearm practices during office visits.
When did the medical community decide that it had a right to insert themselves into my private affairs?

Pseudo scientific bush-league-psychout-stuff that politicians can wave over their head, to justify their votes to enact red flag laws and justify ex parte punishments for a crime that has not been committed. Nightmare proffers up a pig wearing lipstick...then he chastises a spot on response by Ghost1958 on a topic that has made the rounds many times here...Nightmare should know better...

With my recent health problems I been handing out business cards for my self-defense firearms instructing business.

To all the doctors and nurses I have been seeing.

I guess they now all know where I stand on guns and such.

Maybe I should petition John for a new luser name, Snowflakes’ Trigger Warning. What can’t be spoken can’t be fixed.

That particular problem is easily fixed.

Doc. I'd like to talk about guns with you.

Patient. Nope.

See how easy that is?

Several of my (and my wife's) doctors are gun owners, and we frequently discuss gun issues.

Due to an accident with a table saw, I had to see an orthopedic specialist. We had several good conversations about guns and hunting as he was a hunter as well. He even decorated his office with pictures of some of the deer he has harvested.
