Still out and about...

So........how is Open Carry going in Seattle??
~ Seems to be fine :)

Wife and I spent the whole day there, was 90% open carrying my W.German Sig P226 and a spare mag. Pikes Place and the water front were super busy, was a really nice day and we had a lot of fun. We spent 7+ Hours in the area.

Were you at Pride? If so, did you get any feedback from the gay community? As always, MSG Laigaie is running a booth up here at the Bellingham pride 6/10.

Were you at Pride? ...<snip>.
~ No, it was our anniversary, we were around pikes place and the waterfront mostly. Toodled around Pike's Place, the water front stores, walked to the West center, took the sky tram thingy to the space needle, walked around a bunch, rode back, had dinner, went home. Was super busy all over, didn't know it was gay pride event (I don't really keep up with that kinda stuff, figured let people be people, we don't need an event for it).

Hobart Flea Market

I OC while selling there.

Today, met up with much positive response.

Invited more people to the picnic up north on the 16th.
Many people seem to be waking up about their rights and the crash that is about to happen whether we want it to or not.
Looks like I will be taking someone shooting for virtually their first time next weekend. She had shot .22 LRs and decided to hunt elk, so she got a 45-70 lever action. She is in for a surprise but I did give her a heads up about that.

I may also be taking someone for their very first time as soon as our schedules match up again. She has never fired any guns ever. I plan to start her on the 22lr pistols. She wants to learn. So, more positive on the gun area.

Also while at PCC in Issaquah, I drew quite the positive crowd at the check out, the checkers where all wanting a look and some where pointing out that I was prepared and it was a generally very positive vibe that I got from that crowd.

Big 5 was also positive.

The bank was flat neutral.

Overlake Urgent Care Centers on the eastside now have this absurd sign posted in their front doors.

I locked up my sidearm back in my car before going in however they did not search me or any person who was there. I was there for 3 hours and did not see one single person get searched. I am writing a letter to OL administration letting them know if they expect this policy to work they would need body scanners, multiple armed guards and fortifying every entrance and large window.

Sorry, didn't notice the sign.
Oh, weapons are not allowed? Well you must only hire Berny and Shillary supporters because a mind is the most dangerous weapon.

Washington does not have force of law when it comes to no gun signs. I ignore them until I am asked to leave and their is a good chance no one will say a thing.

I OC rarely now. I went to the WSP Memorial Clean up put on by WAGUNS Saturday. Prior to the even I was in Safeway in Duvall and the only comment was "Glock .....22?" Nope. 17. But close. Nothing said by any of the WSP Troopers either who participated in the clean up.
