I am not immune to the plight of citizens living in these western states. I followed the terrorising of the family near Area 51 who had the land they owned since the day of Lincoln stolen by the hands of the Air Force and a criminal judge among other things

Let's take a look at the law. Article 1, Section 8, Clause 17 of the Constitution states

Based on this it is safe to say the BLM as well as the FWS have zero right to be dictating as they do. Therefore a citizen has the legal right to defend themselves should these rogue government agents choose to enforce the authority they do not have. I do not advocate breaking the law, I advocate exercising rights we already have, regardless of who says we cannot, simply because they have no right to be refusing to allow us those rights. Utah is yet again a state that permits wide freedoms in defending against criminal behavior and I'm not going to quote it all. The link is right here

The law is the law. The question is what is defined as law and that rests on the supreme document of our land. The Constitution. Clearly these regulations have no constitutional basis and therefore are not law.
The western states were once territories and their respective enabling acts delineated the portions of the future state that would remain federal property. Feds have been screwing the western states from the get-go. It is obvious that the feds have been gobbling up the lands of western states at a furious pace these past 100+ years.

If only there were as much national outrage over each one of these tyrannical actions as there is over college "safe spaces" the feds would be waking up the western state governors in the middle of the night to sign the land transfer papers.

Is Oregon working as Utah is to regain their lands?

Their should be but even most patriots have been poisoned by the propaganda and are unable to comprehend the Constitution anymore. There should be national teams of patriots who defend public lands from tyrants, defend property and animals from thieves and defend families who live off grid, homeschool their children and refuse to poison their children with toxic chemicals from having their children kidnapped. If that happened, the government would sit up and listen pretty fast.

and no before some RINO says it, i'm not advocating overthrowing the government or breaking the law. Merely reminding the government to abide by the Constitution and if they do not, they will be stopped.

right wing...your continued use of the term "patriot" seems contrary to M/W definition which states: quote: one who loves his or her country and supports its authority and interests, unquote.

your posts seem to give the impression you do not support the authority and interests of this country with comments, quote:
Merely reminding the government to abide by the Constitution and if they do not, they will be stopped. unquote.

just saying...

what? Well if thats the definition of patriot then how come the Founding Fathers didnt just lay down and take tyranny? I support the government's lawful authority just not the unlawful, unconstitutional authority it stole. The very Constitution was set up to limit the government and a person who truly loves their country won't allow the government to overstep the authority the Constitution allows them.
Now on the other hand there are many things, states, cities etc are allowed to regulate. Speed limits, banning of trash burning or a bazillion other thing. Those we have a duty to obey or use the powers that be to repeal or change them. However you can't do that with violations of the Constitution because the government knows full well it's overstepped and stolen rights and it doesnt care. Therefore the only action possible is to recognise what is and is not law. Notice I cite the Constitution and state laws giving the citizen the right to defend themselves against certain crimes. I don't believe in anarchy and lawlessness.

An appeal to a dictionary is the etymological fallacy or dictionary fallacy. The argument is "that's not what my dictionary says" in infinite regress. Indeed, the on-line dictionary that I just looked at indulged in no such jingoism. By jingo!

jingo...

quote: The etymological fallacy is a genetic fallacy that holds that the present-day meaning of a word or phrase should necessarily be similar to its historical meaning. This is a linguistic misconception, and is sometimes used as a basis for linguistic prescription. An argument constitutes an etymological fallacy if it makes a claim about the present meaning of a word based exclusively on its etymology. This does not, however, show that etymology is irrelevant in any way, nor does it attempt to prove such. unquote

your MO is to fall back on the this fallacy or that fallacy nonsense, to include:
Abductive reasoning, Argument map, Argumentation theory, Argumentative dialogue, Belief bias, Boolean logic, Deductive reasoning, Defeasible reasoning, Evidence, Evidence-based policy, Fallacy, Dialectic, Formal fallacy, Inductive reasoning, Informal fallacy, Inquiry, Practical arguments, Soundness theorem, Soundness, Truth, Validity, ad nauseam...

so let's look at Urban: quote: Originally, a patriot was someone who loves their country and supports it, but won't blindly follow whatever their country's government does. These days, it is synonymous with Nationalist, which is someone who blindly follows whatever his country's government does, and lacks his own ability to think and reason for himself. unquote.

if your jingo dictionary has a different definition, you failed to provide it.

to quote Seymour "One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter" (1975)

If (when?) the feds return the lands they now control to the states there is no guarantee that the state would not be just as oppressive to the citizens. However, the first step is to get the lands returned to the state and then the citizens of that state can work to have the lands returned to the people.

“On at least two occasions, Finicum reaches his right hand toward the pocket on the left inside portion of his jacket. He did have a loaded 9 mm semiautomatic handgun in that pocket,” said FBI Special Agent in Charge Greg Bretzing at a late Thursday press conference shown on KOIN-TV livestream.

Pretty damning evidence.........of something.

Still do not see that use of deadly force was necessary at that point.

Too subtle of a difference for me to discern.
How about this:

People get to buy formerly federal land from the state...no more state control over the land. State gets money from the sale, then the state could see recurring revenue from the private property due to insidious tax scheme(s) "authorized" to be inflicted on private property owners.

This is the point where sane, rational thinkers ask, "Did the FBI commit MURDER?" and sane, rational federal investigators say, "Why, yes - the FBI DID commit murder!"

Linky

If the Feds thought they were sending a message, this retired USAF Veteran head only, "The Feds have NO integrity. They are NOT trustworthy."

+1

Even if he was reaching for a gun he was already shot by all reports and the feds set this trap up either to purposefully kill someone or to completely bungle it. They could have easily just waited until they got to their destination.

The state/State should/must own no real estate beyond necessary to accomplish its proper purposes.

+1

I would make that zero lands.

wow, thanks for the censorship. Not even the decency to respond to it, I guess. Are we gonna have another round? Just so you know I consider myself to have been as violated as if facebook had vandalised my profile.

Don't bother me with the truth, cuz i'm enjoying drinking my kool aid to much. Delete this and show further dishonor and let yourself down or respond like a civilised patriot.

These clowns are engaging in exactly the opposite of what they claim to be engaging in. Many contingents of 'the people' (locals) want the land in question managed exactly the way it's being managed; it is the 'will of the people'. Yet, a small group of armed, out of state buffoons have deemed themselves the ultimate arbiters of justice on this issue, despite calls to leave from the local sheriff and residents of the nearby town.

Wait beebobby, let me fix it for you.....These FEDERAL clowns are engaging in exactly the opposite of what they claim to be engaging in. You violate OCDO (private property) Forum Rules and then claim censorship? Really? Then add insult.

Perhaps you need to give it a rest....voluntarily. Your choice.
