I am not much of a chef, but willing to bring anything at all, if somebody can cook/fix/prepare it.
( I tend to eat MRE's on camping trips. )

I will be arriving Saturday noon-ish.
How can I help?
Seriously: anything.

Just bring something to share for dinner, its a pot luck, a dessert or a salad or chips and dip or just about anything really there is always a lot of food, too much usually. And what ever you want to drink. I can cover you for breakfast Sun morning scrambled eggs & bacon likely. When are you going home Sun? Call me if you need more info or just want a better feel for whats going on.

AR-15
1911 .45
Taurus 24/7 9mm
Keltec P32
Tommy Gun 45 ACP 230 gr brass only.
If you want to shoot any, just bring own ammo.

WOW! What a great camp-out! I've made reservations for at least the last three years, but due to life this is the first one I finally made it to. The weather was great (a little windy at times), but sunny. The great people that came out were just amazing. The rangers, and camp ground hosts loved us, and knew that we were the type of people they wanted at their campground. We made several trips into town OC'ing, and had no issues at all. The food we shared was amazing/overwhelming! There was a pretty good sized deer that plopped down on the ground just outside the camp ground fence mocking us. We did a little bit of shooting up in the mountains, but most of the camp out involved shall we say adult activities. We all acted like adults, and put OC in a positive light. We had a couple of OC banners posted up. We had some Brits with MSG, who marked a couple of items off their bucket list. Plain, and simple a great event.

Darn shame this only happens once per year......and that it is so far away from me.

Good show folks.

History of 2Am

During the campout, several of us were discussing the origins of the 2Am. I mentioned that I have an excellent book that shows all the various iterations of the Bill of Rights, including transcripts of the discussions of members of congress when creating them.

That book is The Complete Bill of Rights: The Drafts, Debates, Sources, & Origins (Neil H. Cogan ed., Oxford University Press 1997).

I encourage everyone to get a copy (several used on Amazon for a reasonable price).

Thanks to All

I pretty much expected a warm reception, but Thank You All, for making my family members, Tony and Jo, feel comfortable and welcome. You are a great bunch of Human Beings.

This years campout went undocumented(no 'group' photo). The weather was wonderful and the company was too. It is always nice to fellowship with other Armed Citizens. The food, the conversation, the arguments, the location, are always the best. Another Thank You for being recognized by me peers. I greatly appreciate it.

I want to be on the list for next year, how far out can we reserve?
