so Gutshot & dmatting:

if as dmatting states, parts of the Empire sstate have, let's see how were they were identified, oh ya, "full of good old, gun lovin' red necks" and Gutshot you allude to possibility the same individuals exist in the Praire state, why are there so few posts out on the forum from these locales.

One possibility is that those that fit that description are involved on their home front, reading but not posting here.

They do seem to have an active group with NYSRPA (New York Rifle & Pistol Association)

Then there is also SCOPE (Shooters Committee On Political Education) which claims to have been active for 50 years.

See also the main sub-forum page for NY - seems fairly active.

Much like IGOLD and PAFOA there were places for folks to be before OCDO came along. And the folks in NY seem to have been busy, in spite of the snow, working to dismantle the SAFE Act as well as rallying around their sheriffs who are refusing to enforce it.

I do not want to see OCDO become Calguns or TSRA or the NRA. Not even the open carry subsidiary. But that's just my personal preference.

stay safe.
