If time travel were possible, people like you should be sent to the Dark Ages where you could actually inflict violence upon religious minorities, rather than this soft, passive agressive stuff where you shown them who is boss via the double standards that ADobbs1989 and I have highlighted. It must be frustrating when you can only show your hate against those who are different than you through pissant discrimination instead of old school violence.

LMFAO! :lol::lol::lol:

My government treats me as a second class citizen. I have that to complain about.

How? You are not offered the same days off as everybody else? IMO you treat yourself as second class, nobody else gives a damn about your class. In fact I would bet some atheists would be damned mad if you screwed up one of their paid holidays.

The government is representing one particular point of view in the area of religion. The way to respect everyone is to stay out of religion (e.g., complete neutrality).

The word God represents several religions including Islam. The way to respect people is to leave them alone, and not stick a nose into their business.

Hey Wolf, you got him rattled now...He thinks I'm a Christian :dude:

LOL, well I don't care what he thinks, he has no idea about mine either. He just likes to throw fits because people are still free to be individuals. It is not so much about the freedom of religion as it is the freedom of people.

Demanding that the government, a public entity, stay neutral with respect to religion, is not sticking one's nose into anyone's business.

What is wrong with demanding government neutrality in the area of religion? Do you think that countries that do not respect religious neutrality (such as Moslem theocracies) are preferable?

Neutrality of government in the area religion is impossible. All we can do is hold government to the first amendment...

As far as I am concerned they are neutral. They honor all faiths, and respect those people of those faiths. Just because you may have no faith is no reason for those with it to be imposed upon, which is what you want. You have admitted you are not forced to pray, so you sole complaint is that others do, or that you may see it. It is laughable.

You talk about me having no idea what you think, yet you tell blatant lies about me.

So are you deliberately being obtuse, or do you really fail to understand that demanding government neutrality with respect to religion has absolutely nothing to do with the private lives of individuals?
