How about in the 2 packer's stadiums?

Lambeau Field? Yes, the city in its almighty wisdom decided to post it. Plus the NFL is anti-protection.

We need to make sure the word gets out to the armed robber, that if he returns, he will alo be guilty of a Class B forfeiture (not to exceed $1,000). That should stop him, don't you think!

You mean when he walks by and stops, realizing it's the best business to rob? I found it pretty humorous, unfortunately one of the employees was injured when the guy started pistol whipping the staff. GM was very evasive when I emailed her just saying they felt like they had to post.

Looks like we'll have to find another spot to stop for grub after shooting at NBSC which is only 10min down the road.

Well, I hope they do allow it for 2 reasons: 1st) I'm a pro-gunner and 2nd) cause I'm a Bears fan and although I like videos like this : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZjvXxwvg8mc the Packers fans should be able to put themselves out of misery if they so choose.

walworth County Fair NOT Posting this year. YEA!!!

I was informed by Susan Pressing from the Walworth County Fair office last week that they had a special board meeting about open and concealed carry at the fair and they decided to follow state rules. She said they prefer that folks not open carry but you will be in your right to do so as you wish this is only a request its up to you. This is great news so please take the Walworth Co Fair which is held in Elkhorn off the list.

Greg, good news!

Since first posting, I have found out that the Walworth County Fairgrounds are owned and operated by the Walworth County Agricultural Society, Inc. making the entire facility private (NOT government owned) property.

That means that you can Open Carry on the entire site, except for a Sheriff/police substation.

However, only Licensees or out-of-state Licensees may Carry Concealed, unless they have a lease/rental contract for space (and are in that space), or someone from the Walworth County Agricultural Society, inc.

Here is the "Carrying Concealed Weapon." statute:
https://docs.legis.wisconsin.gov/statutes/statutes/941/III/23

941.23(2)(e) An individual who carries a concealed and dangerous weapon, as defined in s. 175.60 (1) (j), in his or her own dwelling or place of business or on land that he or she owns, leases, or legally occupies.

I got the impression that they would like people to conceal because there is so many children around but I could be wrong? I have my little ccw card so I'm just glad to be able to carry. I will probably conceal most of the time there.

Don't you just love the stock thinking, "It's about the children."

Of course it is - it's about their safety, their education, and the more LAC with guns are in their presence the safer and better educated they will be. This is a terrific opportunity to educate all generations that good guys do carry and that doing so is legal.

I know that there are those that will compromise/conceal at venues like this - that is a personal choice and one that I respect. Consider too that it is prudent to have a very good retention holster with crowds and very force generating rides.

If I understand her correctly, that means that if you have a CC license/permit accepted by Wisconsin, you will be able to carry concealed/open everywhere, except for perhaps a police/sheriff building/office, on the Walworth County fairgrounds. They prefer that you carry concealed.

If you do NOT have an accepted CC license/permit, you cannot carry in any of the buildings, and can only do open carry outside the buildings.

No, it's private property. You can Oc/cc anywhere with or without a ccl. I do not believe there are police stations anywhere on the grounds, just a security building.

I will be oc'ing.

Well Protias this is the first one for me to add...

Clifford's Supper Club in Hales Corners. The "ban" sign nor the Hales Corners Chamber of Commerce sign were up last time I went for the fish fry...
I will be sending the owners a letter to find out if the Chamber of Commerce asked them to post.
I did tell the manager I will not return until the "free kill zone" sign is removed.
I need to order some cards I think...

Don & Roy's Motorsports 17740 W. Bluemound Road in Brookfield has the chintziest 8 1/2 X 11 home computer printed "no weapons allowed" sign I have yet seen. It's OK that they are posted because their parts people are the most inept I have dealt with...I will be going elsewhere for my bike parts regardless.

Rumor had it that Aldi had taken down it's signs. I just got back from the Delavan one and sigh is gone! Others on WCI's page on Faceboo have said they have checked other stores and they are gone as well. Nazir said the one where he had his 'incident' still had the sign up so....

thanks guys. off to Sears i go.

just got back, the Sears store is almost empty except for the tool section. the rest of the area is cordoned off. So i took some friendly advice from another on here, and went back outside, and over to Pennys. They have a nice clothing dept. and the clerk helped me alot, i ofcourse Open Carried the whole time. Clerk didnt care, nor anyone else.
