So one democrat says's he's worried about incompetent people with guns ? all the more reason for everyone else to carry and I'm worried about incompetent politicians.

The problem with training and permits is that it singles out those of us who carry just for self defense, what about people who Hunt, Shoot trap or Plink or who like to target shoot ? Why don't they need a permit or training after all they are actively shooting we are just carrying and really don't want to shoot anybody . If we want training we'll go get on our own. The next thing you know we will need a permit for our bows.

Anyone ever notice how the people who want to regulate gun rights are the same ones who plea bargain for criminals, scream bloody hell at the death penalty, and let these same idiots out of jail because they feel sorry for them ? This is the kind of crap that p's me off.see now you got me going, who started this ?

The bad part of the Wyoming law, as it pertains to the rest of us, is that it would only apply to residents of Wyoming, non residents of the state would still need to be in possession of a permit that they honor.

While Constitutional carry would be (will be) awesome here in Wisconsin, there will still need to be some sort of a permitting system for this very reason. If you want to carry in states that require permits, Wisconsin residents may need to get a permit to carry. This is assuming that Wisconsin will get reciprocity with other states. I know that many on this forum, like myself, have Florida or Utah CCW permits, so this is a non-issue.
Just to be clear, I am not saying Wisconsin should require permits for carrying in-state by state residents. Only to get reciprocity with other states so residents can carry when traveling.

"Wyoming would retain its current concealed-carry permit system if the bill passes so people could continue to carry concealed guns in other states that have reciprocal agreements." - Read the article after I posted.

I do not want a privilege card. When my UT expires, I'm not sure I'll renew it, but I'll deal with that when the time comes.

Protias, If you do any traveling at all, perhaps the $10.00 renewal fee on your UT permit will be a "value" to you.

Like it or not, at this time only three (3) States do not require "permission cards" and thus do not collect "taxes" for the "permission card". If Wisconsin joins their ranks (as I hope they do), travel into some States with a lawfully concealed firearm may not be possible without a "permission card". Give that the UT card only costs $10 to renew - ? ? ?

Sometimes, doing what is right is harder to do that just to go with the flow. Like any store who bans firearms for some strange reason, and they do not listen to potential customers, I no longer purchase what they offer. There are many other stores who I can purchase from. Like I said earlier, I am going to have to mull this over.

Correct on every point!

And since I do not attend church, I would be the logical choice for regulations and permits to attend church. That makes sense.
