I will believe when I see it

I read about the original post in VCDL's newsletter. I have a soft spot for chocolate and I like M&Ms for a choice of quick and small candy. So, before I made any decision, and jump to boycot any company or product, I have to make my own research or test. I placed the order yesterday and it is supposed to be delivered today- all the way from NJ to VA.

Maybe all of you writing to them and putting pressure worked, or maybe just placing an order instead of asking for accomodating 3-line request is a better approach. I will believe it when I see it, but here is what I ordered: a mix of orange and grey candy; grey says "Malone Labe", orange says "Guns SaveLifes".

Yes, I dont expect them to know what "Malone Labe" stands for, just like I did not know it a year ago. And yes, I had to compromise on the 2-line only and not enough space for GSL.

Likely never passed by human eyes.

Welcome to the forum by the way.
I hope you only made the typo when reproducing "Guns Save Lives" here. :)

And to top it off, they are headquartered in McLean.

These segments produce some of the world’s leading brands: Chocolate – M&M’S®, SNICKERS®, DOVE®, GALAXY®, MARS®, MILKY WAY® and TWIX®.

Well, it was worth the test and came within 24 hours. Not a perfect product - I had to compromise on exact letters, but tastes just fine. And now I know that M&Ms is not anti-gun.

I have a feeling they just don't want controversial issues printed on them so they don't have either side of the argument not buying from them. I am sure they wouldn't print anything anti-gun either. They just want to remain neutral. If this was already said..sorry..I didn't have time to finish the whole thread.

Dr. Mark - I am going to keep the majority of the package and bring it to next gun show I can make to - and probably leave them with VCDL folks - as a sweet treat for volunteers and attendees. So you are welcome to 'come and take them' LOL

Despite the inability to observe the plank in his own eye (existing pictures posted hours earlier), he continues to point out the speck in anothers (minor misspelling). Yippee. :)
