Yup, he sure did. BL is very close to PB so I will be attending and enjoying.
I would lay money on a deal cut to some misdemeanor.
Getting any type of felony conviction is death to gun ownership .
If Wisconsin is like Ohio a misdemeanor conviction for a crime of violence is basically like a felony, you lose your gun rights. Example: Aggravated menacing is a criminal charge one could receive if they knowingly cause another person to believe they will cause the person serious physical harm or harm the property of the other person. A belief crime. Belief crimes need to be abolished.I did not know that. To me a felon is liable to 365+ days state supervision, and misdemeanor means less than 365 days. Please cite the Wisconsin statute so that I may understand.
Any deal will still be a waste of time as to his ability to own firearms.
Even if charged as a misdemeanor it will still effect his rights.
A crime that could be charged as a felony but plead down to a misdemeanor is still treated as a felony according to Wisconsin gun laws. It's considered a violent felony and as such he loses ALL his gun rights.

I have never heard of this and have worked in the criminal justice system since 1982. But just because I haven't heard of it doesn't mean it isn't so. I'm willing to have my ignorance fought. As previously requested please provide a cite for your claim.
Trial rescheduled to 15 November.
I see on WCCA the State of Wisconsin added another felony count.
