    Shooting in newspaper office

This cannot be. I'm sure it is a gun free zone.

"Five people were killed Thursday after a gunman opened fire in the newsroom of the Capital Gazette, a newspaper in the Maryland capital, Annapolis, police officials said."

PDRM is a gun free zone.

It is AFAIK original to me. Compromise is failure on the installment plan, particularly when dealing with so intractable an opponent as ignorance. - Nightmare

Settling a personal grudge. Nothing to see here.

The police are upset because the guy is not talking and won't tell them why he did it.

Excuse me, everybody knows why he did it.

That is a trivial detail that is not relevant to the law abiding citizen gun control debate...you should know better.
