Open carry is dead in Florida for at least the next 1.5 years. The fix must now come legislatively as we knew all along. Despite having both chambers in Tallahassee and the governor's mansion, the awful Republicans will not pass it. With only 40 senators "serving" Florida, open carry will be all but impossible to regain here. The future is in simply fighting anti gun legislation for as long as we can hold it back.
